Which ones

Which loan program pages should a mortgage site have?

One page for each program you originate — usually conventional, FHA, VA and refinance at minimum — plus your specialties. Every page answers that program's common questions first, cites public sources with dates, and points the ready reader to the matching funnel or calculator.

Anatomy of a program page

What's on every program page

  1. Answer-first intro — what the program is and who it fits, in 40–60 words.
  2. Key facts with sources — dated, linked to HUD, VA, USDA or FHFA.
  3. Who it's for / not for — honest fit, so the wrong borrowers self-select out.
  4. Calculator — the most relevant one, embedded.
  5. Funnel CTA — the matching quiz as the primary action.
  6. 8–12 FAQs — with FAQPage schema.
  7. Compliance block — NMLS IDs, licence lines, Equal Housing text.

Program facts on this page summarise public sources (HUD Handbook 4000.1, VA.gov home loans, USDA Rural Development, FHFA 2026 conforming loan limits) as of 2026-10-19. See a live example on the sample FHA page.

FAQ

Program pages questions

Can't find it? Search every answer or ask the funnel desk.

Which loan program pages should a mortgage website have?

One for each program you actually originate, and none for programs you don't. Most loan officers need conventional, FHA, VA and refinance at minimum; specialists add USDA, jumbo, DSCR, bank statement, HELOC or reverse. Each page targets one program so it can rank and answer that borrower's questions.

Why one page per program instead of one "loan options" page?

Search engines rank pages for specific topics. A focused FHA page can answer FHA questions in depth and rank for them; a single "loan options" page competes for nothing in particular.

Do program pages show rates?

No, by default. Rates and payment examples are Reg Z trigger terms and go stale daily. Pages explain how each program works and link to calculators and funnels; you quote rates on the call.

Where do the program facts come from?

From public sources — HUD for FHA, the VA, USDA Rural Development, FHFA for loan limits — cited with dates on the page. We update facts like loan limits when the agencies announce changes.

Can I add programs later?

Yes. Adding a program page is a content edit included in your plan; adding a matching funnel uses the extra-funnel price.

Will the pages work for my state?

We add your licensed states and any state-specific programs you offer, such as housing finance agency down payment assistance, with dated details you approve.

Are program pages connected to funnels?

Yes. Each program page offers its matching funnel as the main call to action, so a reader who is ready can take the quiz without hunting for it.

Do you write program pages for brokers who work with many lenders?

Yes, lender-neutral. Pages explain the program and say that terms vary by lender, without naming wholesale lenders unless you want to.
