Your VA next steps

Based on your answers, a VA home loan conversation looks like the right next step.

  1. Certificate of Eligibility (COE). It shows a lender you qualify for the VA benefit and how much entitlement you have. Your loan officer can usually request it for you.
  2. Timeline. We'll plan around your move date.
  3. Documents. A DD-214 (veterans) or statement of service (active duty), recent pay stubs and bank statements.
  4. Funding fee. Most VA loans have one; some borrowers are exempt. Your loan officer explains yours.

This is general information, not an approval. Red Bluff Lending (fictional) is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
